08-Dec-07A: G'Day Kirsty, Yep, Bike-2-Bike is A-OK :) ... These are the very best units available. Only need a single TeamSet for B2B, NOT two. Distance is Bluetooth Wireless, no cables & no wires/connectors, up to 10Metres (~30Feet) reliably (max possible 20Metres (~60Feet)). A TeamSet has a Driver and Passenger Headset ... in Bike-2-Bike, the primary rider wears the Driver headset and the second rider (other bike) wears the Passenger headset. This allows wireless intercom between bikes, but only the primary bike can receive and initiate mobile calls ... but the second bike can 'conference' participate in a call or also listen in to linked Radio/MP3 (additional kit required) Any device that has Bluetooth functionality has the potential to be linked to the headsets, i.e. Bluetooth Radio, GPS, MP3, etc ... 08-Dec-07A: G'Day, It's uses Bluetooth wireless between rider and passenger headset. Bluetooth standard is good for 10 Metres (~30Feet) distance reliably (max possible 20Metres (~60Feet)), so you can use it between bikes, not just rider and pillion ... because it's wireless, there are no cables to tangle, connect or snap :) Actual performance with wireless depends on many factors, so mileage, oops, distance can vary. Myself and others do use them between nearby (rider to rider) bikes on the bitumen ... G'Day BlueWren000, No need for a phone call ... in intercom or Bike2Bike, you simply tap the exterior control button on the mounted headset and you and the passenger or other bike are 'on standby, ready to talk direct (Intercom). You can receive or make a call and then conference the other headset in ... can listen to any setup Bluetooth device:- FM radio, internet radio, MP3's, or what's really neat when on a bike wearing a helmet - GPS directions (in built in mobile or Bluetooth GPS) over intercom too ! ... no setup between headsets, the Teamset is already 'paired' and good to go ... To start using the intercom During standby, start speaking loudly to activate the intercom 2. To terminate the intercom session - Stop speaking. The audio connection will be terminated of intercom within 25 seconds. 3. To Conference Call, i.e. add During an active phone call, tap the Intercom Button.(Includes the passenger/2nd Bike to a conference call) 4. To End Conference Call During a conference call, tap the Intercom Button.(releases passenger/2nd Bike from a conference call). Have setup and had users use endless varieties of Bluetooth devices, direct and cascaded through another device. In this instance we would be willing to accept an original condition/packaging return of the Teamset and 100% refund, less S/H, in the unlikely event you encountered any difficulties ? Kind regards,
